Consuelo Zobel Alger Foundation was created in 1988 when its founder and benefactress, the late Doña Consuelo Zobel Alger of the Zobel de Ayala clan left her entire wealth to make a difference in the lives of disadvantaged children. She wanted to renew hope for those who have lost it and give hope to those who have never had it.
Consuelo Foundation operates programs in the Philippines and Hawaii to prevent and treat abuse, exploitation and neglect of women, children and families.

Cebu’s best-tasting thin crust pizza in a venue supportive of local music & the arts!
Handuraw was born out of the desire to create a place where families, professionals, barkadas, and people of all ages could hang out comfortably, exercise their creativity, and have a good time. Our beginnings are marked in the cultivation of the local music community. We continue this tradition today through hosting live music events and sharing stories over our great-tasting pizzas. Handuraw proudly finds itself in the same journey under the light of Liwanag, co-creating towards the good of Cebu, country and planet.
We believe in the power of public – private partnership, thus we applaud Liwanag for bringing fellow Cebuanos and friends together. Collaboration is key to achieving important changes in today’s rapidly developing Cebu.
